Dr Yadhu Rajalingam

Background & Experience

Doctor Yadhu has over 25 years of experience as a qualified medical professional. He is a Senior Consultant specialising in Critical Care Medicine and Anaesthetics at the Royal Free NHS Trust part of the University College London. In addition to his work at the Royal Free, University College London, he co-founded Smart Life UK in partnership with Cenegenics the world’s largest age management programme for physical and mental wellbeing.

Special Interests

Yadhu is passionate about healthy ageing and has been involved with age management research for many years. He is a keen sports fan with interests in Football and Cricket in particular.

Lelani Loubser

Lelani Loubser is our qualified and registered Nutritional Therapist, Herbalist, Naturopath and Neuro-Linguistic Programming Health Coach.  

She is accredited with BANT and CNHC and undertake more than 200 hours of continuous practice development each year to keep up-to-date with all scientific developments within her areas of healthcare.

Her approach is to helping people achieve their health goals is from a Functional Medicine perspective which aims to address the root cause of chronic illness.  She is able to do this by identifying what needs to be added to the body to optimise health and what may need to be removed that may be blocking the body’s natural physiology and biochemistry.

Lelani has a special interest in gut health and the microbiome and how it affects all other areas of health.

She supports clients with a range of conditions including:

  • IBS – irritable bowel syndrome
  • Diabetes type I and type II
  • Weight issues
  • High cholesterol
  • Hormonal conditions
  • Mood disorders
  • Autoimmunity

Nutrition is a powerful tool to combine with other health interventions in the prevention and management of chronic health conditions.

Edward Pinder, HCA at Smartlife UK

Qualifications

Eddie has a Sports and Exercise Science degree from Sheffield Hallam in 2018. He is currently taking part in several further healthcare qualifications, Level 3 personal training, Level 3 Exercise referral (medical conditions) and Level 4 Diabetes and Obesity.

Background and Experience

Eddie has worked as an HCA since 2018. He has experience in carrying out health assessments on daily basis and providing in depth lifestyle advice to help improve people’s overall physical and mental, health and well-being. He has experience working with children through physical activity also.

He has been carrying out exercise testing for a number of years (VO2max tests) to set exercise/training plans. He is also experienced in DEXA scans, CIMT, and more recently, Covid-19 testing.

Eddie in his spare time enjoys playing football and is an all round exercise enthusiast. He is a foodie and enjoys travelling around the world when he can.

Daniel Dunne, HCA at Smartlife UK

BSc Sport & Exercise Science (1st class honours)

Background and Experience

Daniel has worked as an HCA since 2017. He has experience in carrying out health assessments on daily basis and providing in depth lifestyle advice to help improve people’s overall physical and mental health and well-being.

He has been carrying out exercise testing for a number of years (VO2max tests) to set exercise/training plans. Dan is also experienced in DEXA scans, CIMT, and more recently, Covid-19 testing.

Dan is also our Bupa Health Assessments Centre Manager.
